Summary

At the moment I am enrolled at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College working for my Associates of Applied Science degree with a focus in Web Development. After my first year at MGCCC, I plan to dual-enroll by taking online courses at Franklin University and work towards my Bachelor's Degree in Web Development.

Before attending Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, over the course of 7 years, I taught myself XHTML, CSS, MySQL, and PHP. Since attending MGCCC, my knowledge in web development and design has increased improved and will only continue to do so. I am very familiar with: Web 2.0 concepts, web standards, usability, accessibility, website security, customized internet applications, search engine optimization, optimization for multiple media types, database management, AJAX, Adobe Photoshop, Apache, CMS architecture, CSS 2.1, DOM, XHTML 1.1, XML, HTML, Java Script, MySQL, PHP 4, PHP 5, SQL.

Objective

After obtaining my Bachelor's Degree in Web Development, I would like to work for a large company writing web-based applications.
